La fotografía de desnudo es una fotografía de geometrías. Existe en ella una arquitectura sostenida en elementos como la iluminación, el escenario y la pose, entre otros. En la producción de Fabio Borquez, arquitecto- artista, vemos que la composición toda es una arquitectura apoyada en la modelo, son fotos reveladoras de preferencia blanco y negro para centrar más la atención en un todo. Es un artista, podría decir, de formación humanista, lo que le posibilita una multiplicidad a la hora de retratar y sorprender al espectador en cada toma.

Vemos en esencia un erotismo de esos que desplegaban los artistas renacentistas, y sus tomas son como una inspiración de los poétas del Párnaso, "cuando escribí mi tesis de arquitectura lo hice sobre la seducción y varios de los textos iban acompañados de los poemas malditos de Charles Baudelaire".
Crea una armonía en la esbeltez y en la voluptuosidad del cuerpo de la mujer: Refinamiento-Exotismo- Sensualidad- Misterio son motivos de su fotografía.
"Yo me dediqué profundamente a la fotografía después de haber hecho mi beca en la India en el año noventa, en ese momento maravillado por el nuevo mundo descubierto dije : yo quiero hacer esto, recorrer el mundo y ser testigo con mi cámara de todos esos nuevos mundos a descubrir ... y así empezó la historia, vendía mis notas a revistas y con ese dinero viajaba por aqui y por alla, asi empecé a cruzar el Atlántico una y otra vez y hoy son casi 70 veces que he pasado por arriba del vasto océano.
- SOBRE SUS MODELOS -
Lo de las mujeres fue porque siempre tuve una admiración y preferencia absoluta por las mujeres y su belleza, como muestra este video:
Las modelos las elijo segun su aura, su todo... no me guío con estereotipos de mujer, sino que me parece que cada una puede desde su caparazón , mostrar su alma desnuda... y eso es lo que aspiro a la hora de retratarlas , vestidas, desnudas... revelándose a sí mismas, reverenciando su condición de mujer y enarbolando la bandera de lo estético por sobre todas las cosas...".
